Description: The Annual Bowl-a-Thon is a major fundraising event for the Young Professionals Group of FSMC, attracting over 100 professionals from diverse businesses and open to anyone young at heart. All proceeds from this event support over 20 innovative programs and services for over 7,000 children, families and seniors in our community. CHALLENGE: Company teams of six members are challenged to raise $1,000 per lane HISTORY / MISSION Family Service of Morris County was founded in 1813 as the Female Charitable Society and is the oldest social service agency in Morris County and one of the oldest in the United States. The Society was organized by a group of women interested in helping the needy, particularly the widows and children suffering the impact of the War of 1812. Since 1813, Family Service's roots have remained deep in the community. FSMC strengthens the community by empowering individuals and families to meet and overcome life's challenges.
